ISO/QMS documentation repository: |
For most of the organization managing their QMS (Quality Management System) documentation is paint. Either they use VSS or simply maintaining in plain directories, this way documents are only accessible to local users and someone must be able to “maintain” versioning and security. IntelliColl is the simple answer to all these issues, IntelliColl is a web based system and thus can be accessed by any user who has been provided access. Biggest relief is it maintains the version automatically and users will always get latest version of the document. |
Advertising & Graphics Design: |
Firms those are in advertising and graphics designing business produce lots of soft content and deliver digitally to clients. Normally they use email to delivery their work but it does not work always. Emails do not support large file attachments, sometimes customer can not download the attachment and everything has to be resent, this can be solved. IntelliColl supports file upload/download up to 2GB of size. It keeps log of all downloading activities. Files will remain always there so customers can re-download it if they want to. It has folder level permission so you can restrict access to any folder (those folder will not visible to customer). |
CAD firms: |
One of the most practical use of IntelliColl is at CAD firms. CAD firms make engineering drawings using software such as Autocad. Normally CAD files are large in size so it can not be distributed using email at all. Moreover, CAD drawing goes under lot of revisions so they have many version of same drawing. Customers of CAD firms normally dedicated and so there is lot of production of CAD files for same customer. Of course you need software to manage this situation. IntelliColl has workspace feature which allows you to create different workspace for different customers, so all of their work is stored at one area. IntelliColl supports upload/download of large files with up to date versioning. It has easy to use web based interface which allows customers to access their CAD files from anywhere. |

Documents hold business knowledge and all key info. But most often they reside on individual PCs or server without potential users know they exist. It would be significant advantage at company’s side if they are made available to those users easily. Some times even documents are stored at some central place they are very difficult to search especially when user does not know exact name of the documents. Being a web based application, IntelliColl solves this issue. All documents can be organized in tidy interface easily. Its multilevel permission architecture allows document owner to control who is accessing those documents. IntelliColl’s robust search mechanism allows users to search documents with minimum keywords. |
